Abstract

The presupposed aim of Transformation Agenda is to change the ways of doing things in Nigeria and give the country a new sense of direction. Thus, the general expectation from the agenda is to correct defects or distortions in previous development plans or programmes in growing the economy, generating of employment, reducing of poverty, developing of basic infrastructure, etc. This paper noted that the basic issues that are very fundamental for the transformation to take place have not been addressed. To generate data for this paper the author relied on qualitative method of data collection and on content analysis. The paper recommended among others attitudinal change that is the ability to recreate our value system as a
nation.
